JoWooD Vienna was founded in 1999. Their first project was to develop The Nations together with Neo. Then they focused on casual games Neighbours from Hell, Itch, Pusher. In 2005 JoWooD's CEO Albert Seidl announced to expand the Vienna development team. But later that year the game development unit of this studio was shut down and it remained as the managing office of JoWooD.
