Bullet-Proof Software was an American-Japanese software maker that introduced games in both the East and the West. The company was founded by Henk Rogers with the initial goal of publishing his role-playing game The Black Onyx. BPS soon became a Nintendo licensee with close connections to the chairman Hiroshi Yamauchi. BPS held close ties to Alexey Pajitnov and The Tetris Company. It was succeeded by Blue Planet Software.
