Slipgate Ironworks is a video game developer based in Aalborg, Denmark, and is one of the development studios behind Tempest Rising, along with 2B Games. The company was founded as Interceptor Entertainment in 2010 by Frederik Schreiber. Since the start of the development of Tempest Rising, the team working on the title numbers over 100 individuals and includes several RTS community members serving as designers and consultants.
