Sniper Elite is a third-person tactical shooter stealth video game developed by Rebellion Developments and published by MC2 France. The central character of Sniper Elite is Karl Fairburne, a German-born American OSS operative operating undercover as a German sniper. His mission thrusts him into the heart of the Battle of Berlin in 1945, amid the waning days of World War II. His pivotal task thwarting the transfer of German nuclear technology into the possession of encroaching Soviet forces.
