F.E.A.R. First Encounter Assault Recon is a survival horror first-person shooter video game developed by Monolith Productions and published by Warner Bros. The game's story revolves around a supernatural phenomenon. You play a new member of the First Encounter Assault Recon, a secret commando unit specializing in paranormal threats. For your first mission, you must find the mysterious and murderously insane Paxton Fettel who has escaped from prison and seized control of a prototype army of clones. As you hunt for Fettel, you must battle his clone soldiers who become increasingly advanced and dangerous. If that is not bad enough, you also encounter strange and bizarre sights as you uncover clues suggesting a greater crisis than even Fettel holds.
