Summary

Ni no Kuni II Revenant Kingdom is an action role-playing game developed by Level-5 and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The game is a sequel to Ni no Kuni Wrath of the White Witch. The story follows Evan Pettiwhisker Tildrum, a young king. After being overthrown in a coup, the young king Evan sets out with Roland, a man from another world. On an extraordinary quest to found a new kingdom where everyone can live happily ever after, unite his world and protect its inhabitants from the dark forces that threaten them.

I loved the beautiful world and engaging combat. But every once in a while, everything would grind to a halt and I'd have to deal with the overworld strategy mechanics that feel poorly integrated. and I'm amazed how tragic audio layer has made this game unbearable. The music is irritating, to say the least, and when you disable it appears that there's not much left - besides the dialogs the game seems muted. This is the first time in my gaming career that I've felt that the game is destroyed because of sound only.
