Dispatch is a frustratingly uneven experience. While it boasts a high level of polish in certain areas, it severely lacks it in others. The game features a cast of genuinely great characters, but you rarely get to spend enough time with the good ones. As for the core mechanics, the actual dispatching segments can be fun, but they ultimately feel shallow, repetitive, and boring after a while. This isn't helped by the game's pacing, where excessively long cutscenes frequently outlast the actual gameplay.
