Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000 is a flight simulator video game developed and published by Microsoft Studios. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000 brought a number of new features to the series, the most noteworthy being 3d elevation for the scenery which had in previous games been completely flat. Other changes included a GPS system as well as the inclusion of 17,000 new airports, bringing the total up to more than 20,000 worldwide. It was released in both a standard and a pro edition with additional aircraft.
