The opening sequence is one of the most memorable in recent memory but it is almost as if the developers spent all of their creative energy on it leaving the rest of the game to degenerate into a bland, plot-less mess. So much potential is wasted in poor execution, unfinished code and sloppy graphics that I can only recommend this game if you really have nothing else to play or are simply aching for a new WWII style shooter.

Command & Conquer 3 Kane's Wrath brings the challenge of Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars to a new level with new over-the-top units and an equally overblown campaign. The expansion improves on Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars in every critical area while keeping up the game's fast and furious pace. And as a story-player I enjoyed Command & Conquer 3 Kane’s Wrath mainly because it finally closed some gaps in the storyline.

Grand Theft Auto IV falls short of expectations, with lackluster gameplay, repetitive mechanics, a subpar game engine, poor mobility, and unengaging missions, making it a regrettable choice from Rockstar. It doesn't quite meet the standard I've come to expect.

Cryostasis Sleep of Reason is a beautiful gem of a game. It offers up a thoroughly unique experience, that at its height is as breathtaking as it terrifying. The decision to render this as a first person shooter is slightly double-edged though, because as a shooter it’s less of a stunner, but is still a worthy addition to your game shelf.

An excellent FPS horror that mixes action with some pretty good frights. The single-player is exceptional, with some of the best graphics and atmospherics we've seen. It’s great to see a developer building on its original game with such love and care. F.E.A.R. 2 Project Origin is One of our favorite shooters in living memory.

Hugely disappointed The battles aren't epic, the lack of base building isn't fun, and the races are all the same and boring. I had really high hopes for this game, I seriously wish I could return this.

Mirror's Edge is a unique platforming game, very realistic, with a very special point of view in the genre. A huge experience, very different from what we have played previously, with incredible gameplay and great atmosphere. It's the beginning of a brand new series that can provide us with many satisfactions.

Need for Speed Undercover is a return to form for this long-running racer series, the inclusion of the cops really puts pressure on your racing and with the addition of the usual upgrade and tuning options it helps to make this a top arcade racer.

All together, Legendary had a decent idea behind it that's been marred by some poor design decisions. Shooting and controls feel ok, but everything you shoot at, interact with, or run through is lackluster, broken, or just plain boring.

Every aspect of Left 4 Dead has been refined and tweaked to perfection. It’s addictive and atmospheric, and it contains undoubtedly the best gameplay we’ve seen yet.

Some games grow on you the more you play them, as you get used to the little idiosyncrasies and learn to appreciate the finer points. Far Cry 2 is at the opposite end of the spectrum, a game that makes it harder and harder for you to like it by placing more and more junk between you and its best features.

Fallout 3 is a monumental, captivating, and emotionally-charged gaming experience. It seamlessly combines elements of awe, fear, and amusement, resulting in an unforgettable journey. This masterpiece stands as a testament to the medium, deserving a place in the collection of every gamer. It's a must-play that offers an exceptional adventure.

This is the worst Command & Conquer game ever made! The graphics resemble cartoons, except for the water, which is well-done. The campaign, unfortunately, feels rather uninspiring. It's disheartening to see how they've veered off from the successful formula of the Red Alert series with this release. It feels like a waste of both time and money!

Developer Treyarch did a fantastic job of not reinventing the wheel with Call of Duty World at War. Rather, they took the best elements of Modern Warfare and expanded upon them. The end product is a thrilling experience that injects some of the visceral punch back into World War II.
