Battlefield Bad Company 2 is one of the best shooters of this generation. The game has steel-solid mechanics, top-gen graphics, and an incredible Single-player campaign. Call of Duty has a new rival.
As far as technical achievement and pure playfulness goes, this is a massive accomplishment for Avalanche Studios. If you're into blowing stuff up and wreaking havoc in a open free roaming environment, this is the game for you. If you're looking for a clever story driven experience, look elsewhere.
Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight developers tried to make a fast-paced game for a wide audience, but they failed miserably. For the fans of the classic Command & Conquer, this is an abomination. For the rest, it’s a worthless mediocrity with boring gameplay and lousy graphics. Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight is One of the least entertaining real-time strategy games in the past ten years.
A great expansion to an already great RPG that shines from a varied enviroment design, more options and challenges and excellent characters. If you enjoyed Dragon Age Origins, I strongly suggest you buy Dragon Age Awakening.
Novel and videogame join to compose a very interesting proposal in the saturated first person action genre. At the end of the day, I thoroughly enjoyed Metro 2033 which was quite a unique first person shooter and proves that this genre can have a very good storyline, just like BioShock.
Assassin’s Creed II is a worthy successor of one the most intriguing new franchises we have seen in a long time. Few games so deftly balance the contrasting qualities achieved here. It's at once both epic and intimate, earnest and lighthearted. The scale of it is truly magnificent, but often its largest and most moving moments come from the smallest and most carefully composed scenes.
If playing a flight shooter is your dream, look no further. However, with repetitive gameplay and a story that's difficult to understand, Project Wingman just doesn't feel exhilarating enough to make it enjoyable for the casual player.
The greatest third-person shooter, and possibly the greatest game, of all time. It does everything right. Graphics are astounding, sound design is awe-inspiring, combat is strategic and the plethora of diverse enemies facilitates this. Story is very intriguing. The constant risk and reward decision-making adds layers upon layers to an already great shooter.
In a world of enormous RPGs with seemingly endless side quests and huge maps, The Expanse A Telltale Series is a refreshing change of pace, and proves that sometimes, less is more. A great RPG doesn't necessarily need to be a 60-hour adventure; it just needs to convincingly drop you into another person's magboots. The Expanse does that and then some, forcing you to make difficult decisions that will haunt you long after you've finished playing.
The Quarry delivers on its interactive horror movie premise, the characters are all wonderfully realised, the violence, terror and scares are all here. Meaningful choices, multiple endings and memorial set-pieces sit alongside stellar performances, excellent cinematography and cutting-edge visuals. A summer camp experience you won’t soon forget.
Celebrated for its indelible characters, gripping narrative, adrenaline-pumping action, and flawless pacing, The Last of Us Part I stands as a gaming opus, a monumental masterpiece that sets an unrivaled standard for excellence in the gaming world.
An action-packed journey through medieval France that alternates between visceral violence and rural beauty, although its puzzles and action sequences occasionally feeling undercooked compared to its well-drawn and believable characters.
If you’re someone who enjoys third-person survival horror action titles such as Resident Evil and are looking for something to play over a weekend, then Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle’s 10ish-hour campaign may scratch that itch. There are some good ideas here, such as the Frost Grip, but the lack of execution and polish, and some poor core mechanics, means that this is best saved for a bargain price and a rainy day.
Alpha Protocol suffers from Imbalanced skills, technical glitches, dim-witted enemies, and repetitive encounters further undercut the entertainment, making Alpha Protocol a game you can safely pass by.
