The Technomancer
The game is mildly enjoyable, even if the combat is quite obnoxious on a multitude of occasions. The biggest problem this game has is, that even though the basic story is an interesting premise, the characters you encounter are so flat and uninteresting that you don't care about them. The second issue is the sheer amount of time you spend running from point A to point B back to point A, only to turn around and guess what, go back to point B. The Technomancer is plagued with poor design flaws, terrible execution, and a horrible combat system. I would recommend Technomancer only to those extremely interested in the setting and going into it full well knowing that this RPG has issues.
Homefront The Revolution
After capturing our attention with a strong concept and an intriguing open world, I hoped it will be at least good or better than the first one but it felt short by a long shot. Homefront The Revolution struggles with the basics. Weapons feel unsatisfying to use, side quests are repetitive, characters are under-developed and the story is below average. Sadly, for all of its ambition, there's just not much here worth fighting for. A Cryengine game that made me Cry.
Rise of the Tomb Raider
Rise of the Tomb Raider is a great adventure game. More exploration, platform zones and stealth mechanics than shooter moments, great plot and full of content to discover. It's rare that a game does so much so well, and with only a few missteps, Rise of the Tomb Raider is destined to be one of the most recommendable game. and It’s the best game to bear the Tomb Raider name, and the best action-adventure title I’ve played in ages.
Mirror's Edge Catalyst
Massive fan of the original it was refreshing and new but Mirror's Edge Catalyst is a disappointment. The biggest problem is that it has gone open world and it needn't have. You have this big city to explore but it's dull and lifeless. The story is shallow and forgettable just like its characters. The combat is clunky and buggy. I'm a fan of the series but Mirror's Edge Catalyst is a Disappointment of the decade.
