You need a clear, unified vision to shape a game into something that makes sense and compels the player to see it through to the end But scares and gameplay in Afterfall fall flat as scene after scene repeat the same notes, turning what could have been a spine-chilling adventure into a treadmill to an unsatisfying finish.
This is the absolute best racing game I have ever played. The controls are a perfect mix between arcade and simulation where they feel like real cars but can still be driven impatiently. You can really feel the difference in handling, weight, torque, etc. between the cars, and especially between the old and new cars. I'd say that if you're at all interested in cars and racing, you must play this game!
Resident Evil Revelations is a poor attempt at returning the series to it's survival horror roots. From slow paced game play to the inability to see your own health bar, it's a mere spin-off that cashes in on the series' popularity instead of providing a fun filled experience.
Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning provides not only fast-action, but also a great story, a cool battle system and beautiful locations. Even if there are a few things you've already seen somewhere else, the developers of the game did a pretty good job.
The gameplay's extremely fun in the first half hour then it's just plain repetitive, you do the same thing, and even the levels seem identical. And the story's very diluted for a game whose gameplay isn't that engaging, sadly i rarely give up on a game without finishing it but after 3 hours i was plagued with boredom.
The last chapter of Ezio's trilogy is everything an Assassin's Creed fan could expect. Sure, there are still the classical flaws of the saga, like the lacking AI or the too low level of difficulty, but the beauty of Istanbul and the desire to see the end of such a charismatic character like Ezio will prevail on imperfections.
With no story or true narrative to latch onto, there's no reason for players to care about what's going on. And there's only one thing ever going on in Dear Esther: nothing. Broken up into individual pieces-the graphics, writing, and music clearly show talent and might have led to interesting stories or games-but together they form a dull, lifeless experience that's quickly forgotten.
I enjoyed the game for what it was. A action packed, futuristic sci-fi FPS. Having not played any of the other Syndicate games I was not sure what to expect but I received a game that looked good, played well, had a compelling enough story to keep me interested and some challenging enough boss battles which provided me with an overall enjoyable experience.
Alan Wake is something special that enriches the world of gaming. The alpha and the omega of the game is the chilling mood. A man from the city, unaccustomed to dangers and hazards, is asked to survive in the middle of nowhere, alone versus all. It is an exemplary drama and as such, the psychological pressure on the protagonist manages to affect us, as well. It's like living the whole thing, like actually being there.
Anyone who has invested any amount of time in the previous games will enjoy watching the final chapter of Shepard's tale unfold, and among the feelings of excitement and joy as they meet and fight alongside old friends for the fate of the galaxy, they will also feel heartbreak as they bid farewell to the colorful universe and memorable characters BioWare has created.
Risen 2 Dark Waters is another ambitious effort from developer Piranha Bytes, but once again it is dragged down by combat that doesn't really ever feel right, and it's kind of sad to see so much effort and talent go into their games when some of the fundamentals have been ignored for so many years.
I simply love the game. The story is amazing, the characters quite deep, and at the end there is a twist after twist, but they all kinda make sense. It's not a soulless western Hollywood style game where everything is just a great dull cliché of political correctness Binary Domain has a soul, and a big one!
Sniper Elite V2 is a good and solid action sniper game. The story about the V2 scientists is nice, well narrated and motivates to keep playing. Minor issues aside, headshot enthusiasts and stealth fans will find much to love here.
Don't await too much of a story but a good piece of action with this spin off from the mystery drama Alan Wake. A nice and new way to find new players for a franchise. Alan Wake's American Nightmare is a good comeback for our favourite writer.
