I was looking forward to a solid single-player campaign when I bought it, so I was quite disappointed to find it only had a multiplayer feature that didn't appeal to me.
The game design and gameplay are extremely poor, the control is the worst, you spin out very easily, and the tracks it offers have no detail at all. Having played on many F1 games, this is definitely not the one to go for.
If you're looking for a real-time strategy title that takes a look at modern-day warfare in a realistic fashion, Real War Rogue States is probably about as good as you're going to get.
Playing Revolution is like driving a Lamborghini that's been torn apart and reassembled by a blindfolded mechanic: it's cheap, and the engine runs, but I wouldn't recommend you get behind the wheel, because there's bound to be some important parts left out.
